12 photos which prove Mesut Ozil may take up MODELLING after his football career

Blue Steel in all its glory
Right - now bear with us, here.
Given our day-to-day job is to bring you as much of the weird and wonderful of sport as possible, we're hooked up with a lot of players' social media.
It's why we could so quickly show you things like Jack Wilshere working out in a shower and Dani Alves opening beer bottles with a bicycle kick. You know, stuff you want to see.
But over the last few weeks, something's really grabbed our attention: Mesut Ozil's extreme posing.
Yes, the selfie is something we all unfortunately have to put up with these days, but nobody does them quite like (or as often as) the German assist machine.

When you go through the photos below, note just how much artistic effort he puts into most of them. Careful consideration is given to the angle, reflection, background, everything - the man KNOWS how to take a good picture... of himself.
And that's not the only evidence we have, either - he's already had some serious posing practice.

So when Mesut hangs up his boots, he could perhaps became a sunglasses model?

Or maybe there's a market for him in risqué topless modelling?

You can't rule out fashion modelling either with his incredible track record:

Or perhaps he'll keep echoes of his football days as he takes up sportswear modelling?

After all, he's clearly got a taste for the catwalk already...

It may be unlikely (or unthinkable for some), but if that is the next career path he chooses, you heard it here first...

Should Mesut Ozil become a model when he hangs up his boots?
